There are several ways of contributing to one of William's global-wide projects: Firstly, if you want to nominate a visionary; someone who you feel should be included in one of our future book publications, then please follow the links. Here, you can nominate change-makers and inspirers who you feel are clearly changing the world in positive ways. Alternatively, if you would like to enter our Global Citizen Competition, then go to the bottom of this page. There, you will find details on how your short 'vision statements' of hope could be published as part of an exciting worldwide initiative. Sponsor a visionary writer: Interested in sponsoring or part funding a visionary writer? Are you keen to make a financial donation to one of the exciting projects we are initiating? The Imagination Project has been formed to support emerging young leaders and writers; visionaries who are dedicating their lives and careers to the most critical issues of our time. Mentoring a visionary writer: Do you have the experience, knowledge and time to perhaps donate several hours a month mentoring others? Are you a writer, teacher or facilitator whose vital skills could enhance and help develop the skills of other writers from around the world? If so, then we'd like to hear from you. Want more details? Please email: contribute@williammurtha.com, clearly stating which element of the The Imagination Project you would most be interested in supporting. Global Citizen Competition In 2009, two books will launch: Visionaries for the 21st Century, and Young Visionaries. Both are bringing together the written wisdom of hundreds of inspirers and change-makers; luminaries who are truly making positive impacts at both a local and global level. To accompany and celebrate this series of insightful publications, we are launching a Global Citizen Competition where you can take part. In essence, what we are searching for is profound, insightful golden nuggets of wisdom that you feel should be passed on to other readers. We're looking for: A positive 'vision statement' of hope that can best encapsulate the shift in consciousness that the world is now witnessing. We want you to share with us, in around 100 words, what your thoughts and feelings are on how humanity can create a more sustainable and socially just world. The topic and tone of your contribution is left down to you. All we ask is that your written statement be positive and to succinct. Interested and inspired to contribute? Then submit your vision below. If you'd like to see examples of other 'vision statement' contributions, go to Inspire. What we need from you: There are three elements to your contribution. 1. A short written piece of around 100 words. (your positive vision statement). 2. A list of five books, or songs, that have most inspired you in life. Please remember to include the correct spelling and also the name of the artist/author. 3. A very brief bio which should include any books you have published, your history and your website details. Perhaps also include organisations that you belong to or work for.
Should your 'vision statement' be picked to go forward for publication, then we will notify you in writing by sending out official agreement documents. Profits from every Visionaries book sold, (including the Global Citizen Competition), are donated to the Imagination Project, a (501) non-profit organisation that supports emerging young writers. |
