William has founded several exciting ongoing projects which all orbit around the topics of personal, social and global transformation. The Global Visionaries Project Inspired by the need to identify and help promote those luminaries who are making a profound difference to the world, The Global Visionaries Project was launched in 2006. Its prime objective is to throw a spotlight on just some of the inspirational stories, (and the people behind them), who are individually contributing to the great transformation now emerging around the world. This project wrote to over 500 global innovators, leaders and change-makers, asking each of them this simple question: "Please let us know in around 100 words, your positive thoughts, feelings, insights, hopes and dreams for the future." The written insight we received back from those global innovators and educators will be published in a series of books under Red Wheel/Weiser Profits All profits from the sale of these books will help to establish a non-profit (501) Charity/Foundation, The Imagination Project. This will be a philanthropic set up that will channel seed funding into several good causes, including Healing through the Arts and, The Writers and Filmmakers Programme, an innovative project that aims to identify, assist and fund young visionaries and their creative work. |
